myImmigrationPath.com is a community of immigrants helping immigrants

The founder of myImmigrationPath.com, Klaus Blitzer, now holds two passports, one of the United States of America, and one from his native country in Europe.

Today, enjoys the benefits of living and working practically anywhere in the Western world. He chooses to live in sunny Las Vegas at the moment, but who knows? He may move to Manhattan or Honolulu or the Caribbean when fancy strikes him. He has accomplished what millions of immigrants before him are still dreaming of.

Yet, it wasn’t always like this for Klaus:

He started as clueless as most other immigrants. During his University years, he entered the United States on a tourist visa which he obtained with sheer luck (back then he didn’t know how to “work the system” so a visa would almost be guaranteed to him!)

Finishing his master’s degree on U.S. soil, his tourist visa was bound to expire, and he was facing the same question as millions before him:

I like it in the U.S., so how can I stay legally, and build my future?

What options were available to him under U.S. law? How would his rights be affected if he stayed? Or if he left? Should he adjust his status? Or re-apply for a new visa outside the U.S.?

Years of working through the U.S. bureaucracy followed, and Klaus became a self-made expert on U.S. immigration law… by sheer necessity!

His full story is told inside myImmigrationPath.com, but suffice it to say, from his humble beginnings applying for a tourist visa at a U.S. consulate, to proud holder of two passports, it wasn’t always an easy journey.

But unlike millions of immigrants before him, Klaus decided to share his knowledge. So that the setbacks, long waits, and complications he endured don’t have to be repeated again and again by other immigrants, coming to U.S. shores for a freer, more prosperous, or safer life.

Of course, Klaus is not a lawyer nor does he try to give legal advice. In fact, he’s not too fond of most of the $300/hr immigration lawyers. In Klaus’ opinion, they’re getting rich off of other people’s suffering, selling the same information and advice over and over to immigrant after immigrant… information that could be so easily put into anyone’s hands by way of the Internet!

When Klaus immigrated, the World Wide Web wasn’t even around, but now we have the technology to avoid the outrageous fees that immigration attorneys charge even for the most basic advice.

Immigrants like Klaus are striking back at the information monopoly maintained by the attorneys… the myImmigrationPath.com site not only distributes the step-by-step information that new immigrants to the U.S. so desperately need… it also provides a way for immigrants to help fellow immigrants, all monitored by the watchful eyes of Klaus and his co-workers, so that no misinformation may slip by.

What a concept! Solid advice, even personalized help, accessible 24/7 worldwide via the Internet. myImmigrationPath.com users are ecstatic, and in just a short while, the site has evolved to being the foremost authority on immigration questions for foreign nationals seeking U.S. immigration.
